Dear Sir,
District Bagh Azad Kashmir is located near border of indian held Kashmir.The Shia community is performing their religious activities in the District from last 80 years under the supervision of Anjuman-e-Jafria Bagh which is their main Organization.
Two mosques and Imambargahs are being supervised by the Anjuman which includes Jamia Masjid Asna Ashri Bagh AK. The main mosque collapsed in the earthquake of 08 th Oct.2005 causing severe damage to life and properties of the local shia community too.
The Anjuman started the reconstruction work of mosque (dismantling, removing the debry) with the help of local effectees and basement has been constructed with the cost of over one Million rupees.
It is noted with great concern that despite being part of rich potential of our sect, no organization or individual of our community outside Bagh helped us in result of repeated contacts. While comparasing the situation, other sects have increased their network by constructing more mosques and Madaras in the area since earthquake. We are performing the prayers in the imambarga leaving behind dozens of nimazis due to less capacity since last three years.
